What is Cedar Grove Healing Centre?<\/span><\/h3> <\/div>

Cedar Grove Healing Centre is a mental health and wellness service, located in Simcoe Country.  We provide counselling and holistic mental health support to children, youth, and adults in Simcoe County and beyond.    <\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div>\n \n <\/div>

What therapy options do you offer? <\/span><\/h3> <\/div>

I am grateful to be able to offer many therapeutic options to support your mental wellness goals.

Some of these include:
– Cognitive Behavioural Therapy <\/b>(CBT – talk therapy focusing on exploring, challenging, and replacing unhelpful automatic thoughts and assumptions)
– Dialectical Behavioural Therapy <\/b>(DBT – talk therapy similar to CBT but focuses on acceptance, self-regulation, and mindfulness)
– Ecotherapy <\/b>(forest bathing, walking, sitting)\n
– Art infused therapy<\/b> (guided or self-generated emotional expression through art)
– Sensory Reduction <\/b>(weighted blanket, noise cancelling headphones, eye mask) 
– Sound\/Music making<\/b> (expressing emotions using drums, strings, voice, shakers etc.) 
– Mindfulness through photography <\/b>(using a provided camera and macro lens to explore the world up close and personal)

Regardless of which healing options you choose for your session, I will be with you, ready to offer their observations, knowledge, and support.<\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div>\n \n <\/div>

What does a session usually look like?<\/span><\/h3> <\/div>

During your intake session, we will work together to create a mental wellness plan that feels best for you.  
For some clients, this might mean creating a structured, predictable schedule for sessions that include specific modalities and interventions.   
Other clients might prefer to decide on the direction of the session once they arrive, based on their needs that day.  
However you prefer to envision your journey, I’m here to support you.<\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div>\n \n <\/div>

How much is a session?<\/span><\/h3> <\/div>

Sessions are $150 <\/b>and last 50 minutes.  In your first session, we will go over your intake form together (emailed to you at time of booking), talk about your mental wellness goals, and get to know each other!

Are your services covered by insurance?<\/span><\/h3> <\/div>

We are registered Social Workers and as such, are covered by most insurance providers. 

We do not offer direct billing but do provide an invoice and receipt of payment for you to submit to your provider.  <\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div> <\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
